Balance Protection Insurance helps you to still meet your monthly payment obligations in the event of financial difficulties as it takes over the remaining balance on the credit card statement and therefore releases funds for you to meet other obligations.     The advantages of Balance Protection Insurance

    • Balance Protection Insurance helps you during fi nancial diffi culties in case of unemployment, disability, invalidity and accidental death.
    • You pay a low premium of 0,5 % of the outstanding monthly balance on your credit card statement. This is just CHF 2.50 with a balance of CHF 500.
    • Balance Protection Insurance is very fl exible. The premium adjusts to your spending. If you do not use the card, there’s also no premium.
    • Balance Protection Insurance can be canceled at any time and does not include a minimum term.
    • With Balance Protection Insurance the insured balance plus any insurance benefi ts is paid out in the event of a claim.

    accidental death
    as a consequence of illness, accident or in the event of an officially confirmed disappearance  while insurance coverage is in effect1

    100 % of the insured balance, maximum CHF 200,000

    permanent total disability (invalidity)

    temporary total disability

    10 % of the insured balance every month, maximal CHF 10 000.–

    involuntary unemployment
